Chaffee woman is hospitalized after a wreck Wednesday

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 54-year old Chaffee resident was sent to the hospital after a wreck Wednesday afternoon. Kim Spooner was driving her 2010 Honda Civic on County Road 229 in Chaffee when she ran off the road and struck a culvert around 4:30 PM. Spooner was wearing her seatbelt but was taken by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center with serious injuries.
