Two Bootheel men are charged with attempted meth manufacturing

Two Bootheel men are now charged with attempting to make meth in Sikeston. 58-year-old Marvin Hornburg of Marston and his nephew, 30-year-old Daniel Hornburg of Lilbourn, are charged with attempting to manufacture methamphetamine. Sikeston DPS and the SEMO Drug Task Force arrested the men Wednesday. Information gathered led police to stop the Hornburgs’ vehicle, where they discovered a meth lab and numerous components for manufacturing meth. The two remain in custody awaiting arraignment. Their bond is set at 50-thousand-dollars, cash only.
